Are the walks private?

Yes! Each walk is a 1-on-1 experience that is catered to fit your pup’s needs. Our private dog walks offer numerous benefits that group walks simply can’t match. This gives me the chance to provide personalized, one-on-one attention, to ensure that your dog’s specific needs are met. Whether your dog needs a gentle stroll or a brisk walk, The Dog-Go Zoomies can tailor our services to suit your preferences. If your pup has a favorite playmate that is also a Zoomie and lives in the same building or neighborhood, I will happily walk them together upon request!

How will I know my dog has been walked? Do your provide updates or reports?

The Dog-Go Zoomies uses a state-of-the-art, GPS enabled mobile app to check in and our of every service. This gives you detailed reports and updates on your pup’s walks/sits! You will get a walk report after every visit that includes photos or videos, GPS tracking of your dog’s walks, and a bathroom report so that you can be assured your furry friend has been taken care of while you’re away. It’s highly encouraged that our clients download the app to make it easy to track visits, schedule services and receive “real time” reports directly on their Smartphone.

What is your cancellation policy if i need to change a scheduled walk?

I would appreciate at least a 24 hours notice if you would like to cancel or change your scheduled walk. This gives me ample time to adjust my schedule and squeeze time for other pups in need of a walk. Cancellations that are made the day of your scheduled walk will be charged.

Do your offer any discounts or incentives?

Definitely! Zoomies (clients) who consistently book three or more walks on a consistent basis will be eligible for our discounted weekly priced walks. This is reserved for regularly scheduled weekly walks as it allows us to develop a consistent schedule. The Dog-Go Zoomies also offers complimentary Meet & Greets followed by a free 15 minute walk/drop-in reward as a first time Zoomie!

What Are your Holiday Rates?

Due to high demand during popular vacation dates, we operate based on the Alexandria City Public Schools calendar. Dates including spring break, winter break, Thanksgiving break, the week of 4th of July, and the weekends surrounding MLK day, Labor Day, and Memorial Day will be charged an additional 20%.

Major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve will be billed an additional fee of $50.
